Healthy Minds Mental Health Counseling Services

HEALTHY MINDS

Healthy Minds was created to be an agent of change. To support individuals and communities to change what no longer serves them. Regardless of age, we all possess the agency and power to grow. HM uses holistic and cognitive-behavioral interventions to empower our clients. It takes a community to turn the tide on the stigma of mental health.

Our Mission

Healthy Minds (HM) is a mental health counseling service that meets you where you are. We support your journey of growth and personal change through intention, self-exploration, and reflection. It is our belief that trust and safety are the foundation of all therapeutic relationships.

Our Services

  • Through cognitive-behavioral interventions and mindfulness techniques, clients will be empowered to identify what they want to change. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) focuses on supporting clients to gain better insight into their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. CBT teaches clients specific skills to overcome everyday obstacles.

  • We understand that we grow and develop in the context of our family. We welcome meeting the people invested in your life. Family sessions provide parents with the tools needed to manage challenging behavior presented by children and teens. Communication, honesty, and empathy are pivotal in creating family cohesion.

  • We provide health and wellness workshops for all ages. Our workshops include psychoeducation on anxiety, depression, mindfulness, and self-care to name a few. Workshops are offered online and in person.

  • We offer opportunities to students enrolled in a graduate-level mental health field-related program (MHC, MFT, MSW). Our clinical internship program offers experience in clinical psychotherapy with adolescents and adults.

  • Clinical Supervision is used to discuss and explore cases through a culturally competent lens. Cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and gestalt theories and interventions are referenced throughout the work. This supervision is appropriate for clinicians in outpatient, private practice, and academic settings. Please note that this supervision cannot contribute toward licensure hours.
